1. On AmazingTalker, you choose your own hourly rate per lesson

Three steps to your first payday: one service fee drops to zero. Number three: on AmazingTalker, you choose your own hourly rate per lesson. Classgap also lets you set your rate and decide what you earn. AmazingTalker has openings in a hundred fifty-two languages and other subjects.

Classgap offers over a hundred subjects. On AmazingTalker, tutors start within a suggested price range. With more teaching hours or a level certificate, you can set higher rates. From each lesson's income, AmazingTalker keeps an 8% fixed fee.

Its service fee starts at 30% and drops 1 for every six hours you complete that month. At a hundred eighty hours in a month, that service fee reaches zero. Trial lessons don't count toward those hours. This fee model covers every tutor who registered after May twelfth, twenty twenty-six.

Classgap's commission starts at 32% for a beginner. It falls to 16% from 500 hours taught over the last two years. A booking through your own link costs a 10% commission there. By our count, under six hours a month you keep 62% on AmazingTalker; a Classgap beginner keeps sixty-eight.

With basic visibility, Classgap charges 50% of the first class with a new student. With higher visibility, it charges 100% of that first class. Its tutors may also offer a free twenty-minute test, once per student. So your price and each platform's cut decide what you take home from a lesson.

2. On AmazingTalker, you teach a twenty-five-minute demo class, and four or five stars pass it

Number two: on AmazingTalker, you teach a twenty-five-minute demo class, and four or five stars pass it. You get three tries at that demo class. Your profile photo needs at least 800 by 800 pixels. Your face should fill about sixty to 70% of it.

Work experience and academic background are required. Certificates are optional, but the page calls them a huge advantage. For English, the page looks for fluent tutors with a degree in English or similar, or native speakers. The gear is a stable internet connection and a computer with a microphone and webcam.

With that, you can work from anywhere in the world. Applying takes about ten minutes, and tool practice with an ID check about ten more. By our count, applying, the demo class and the ID check take about forty-five minutes of your own time. The interview stage with the demo class takes one to three days.

We're halfway: your price is set, and your profile is almost ready. For the demo class, a fast track averages six to ten hours, and a general track five to seven days. On Classgap, signing up is free, and you answer a few profile questions. Its team then validates your information before your profile goes public.

Seven more platforms for tutoring, courses and videos are in our earlier video, linked on screen. In one breath: set your price, know each cut, build the profile and pass the demo class. Before number one, a guess: how many days pass between a lesson and its pay?

3. Students can book your lessons up to twenty-four hours ahead

Number one: students can book your lessons up to twenty-four hours ahead. Each lesson you confirm complete by the month's last day counts in that month's income. Cancellations there need at least twelve hours' notice, from you or your student. On Classgap, students may cancel up to eight hours before a class.

If a student keeps missing classes or canceling, you can ask Classgap to review the case. AmazingTalker adds up your pay on the second of each month, in credits worth $1 each. You can ask for it from the second to the fifth, and it arrives by the fifteenth. A later request waits for the fifteenth of the next month.

It pays by PayPal, Payoneer or bank transfer, and transfer fees depend on the method. By our count, a lesson on October twentieth, asked for on November second, is paid by November fifteenth: twenty-six days later. Classgap pays at the end of each month, in euros. It pays by bank transfer in Europe and by PayPal elsewhere.

Your visibility there depends on lessons taught, reply time and free lessons that turn into paid ones. So, three steps: set your price and know the cut, build a profile that passes, then teach and get paid. Our comparison: AmazingTalker's fee resets with each month's hours, while Classgap's falls as your teaching hours grow. One small step today: open one platform's tutor page and read its fee rules.

Which subject would you teach first? Tell us in the comments. Fees, rules and countries can change, so check each platform's own page; this is information only, not financial advice. Next, watch seven expert networks that pay you for what you know, linked on screen.

It shows how each one pays and how to start, from each one's own pages. Subscribe, and the next video does the math with you, one simple count at a time. This is Wealth Filings.
