1. Stuvia sells your own notes as a PDF
Summaries on your computer: 65% per sale, but where? Number one is where you keep that share; we start with the easiest. Number four: Stuvia sells your own notes as a PDF, at your price. You add a title and description, and it lists them by course.
When you set the price, it shows your earnings per sale right away. Summaries sell better with a clear structure, a clean layout and easy explanations. In the description, name the book and the course your notes follow. You choose how many pages buyers can preview for free.
Several summaries for one course can go in a bundle at a fixed price. It only takes a fee once a document actually sells. There are no monthly or registration fees, its page says. Sell your own work only: no past exams, lecturer slides or scanned textbooks.
Its page says it's available everywhere. Once your balance passes ten euros, dollars or pounds, you can request a bank payout. Payouts are processed every Monday. By our count, a payout requested on a Tuesday waits six days, until the next Monday.
If practical guides like this help you, subscribe. Every step and rule in this video comes straight from each platform's official pages linked below. Next, another site where you set the price.
2. Docsity sells your notes
Number three: Docsity sells your notes, handouts, slides and concept maps at your price. Its help center says you earn the full price, minus only the PayPal fee. To be found, give your document a clear title and a detailed description. The subject, university and professor fields help too, its help center says.
You can only sell what you fully own, and never book summaries under copyright without consent. To sell, you add billing details and check your phone number, which can't be changed later. You also need an active PayPal account, because withdrawals go there. A withdrawal opens once you've earned more than five euros or $5.
After approval, the money usually arrives within fifteen days. Signing up is free. By our count, a request approved on the first of a month arrives by about the sixteenth. Seven platforms that pay writers are in our earlier video, linked on screen.
Next, a site that sets the price for you.
3. Thinkswap Elite pays you a share each time your study notes sell
Number two: Thinkswap Elite pays you a share each time your study notes sell. You get at least 50% of each sale, and 65% when the bonus applies. Thinkswap sets the price, its terms say. It wants well-organized notes that cover a full subject, made entirely by you.
Clear formatting and topics students often search for help them sell. A regular upload earns exchange credits, not money. Every Elite upload is reviewed, and a rejected one comes back with feedback. Notes with plagiarism, or anything you don't own, are not allowed.
Payouts come monthly, in your local currency, by bank transfer or PayPal. Joining is free, and you upload under its Elite option. By our count, the bonus lifts your share from one half to almost two thirds. Now, the one that lets you keep 65%.
4. DocMerit lets you keep sixty-five percent of each sale of your notes
Number one: DocMerit lets you keep 65% of each sale of your notes. That's after a flat twenty-five-cent fee on each sale. You set your own price, starting at $4 and ninety-nine cents. Detailed titles and descriptions tend to sell the most, its page says.
Previews are limited and watermarked, so only buyers get the full document. You must own the copyright, and titles that look like publisher test banks are held for a person to check. Automated checks run first, and only a flagged upload waits for a person. Once you reach $50, you can request a payout to PayPal.
Its pages say transfers take up to forty-eight working hours; its terms say once a week. Creating an account and uploading are completely free. By our count, forty-eight working hours mean a Friday request can arrive by Tuesday. By our comparison, all four want your own work, and three ask for detailed titles and descriptions.
