Intro
Your first AI side hustle could be one of these six, and by the end, you'll know what each one pays. On one marketplace for digital creators, you receive 88% of the revenue from your product sales. Five come first, and then one where each upload can be free, paid, or unlocked by a short ad.
6. The n8n affiliate program pays out only on balances of one hundred euros or more
Number six: the n8n affiliate program pays out only on balances of 100 euros or more. n8n is a tool for automating tools and building AI agents. Its page says anyone can become an affiliate. To start, you hit one application button, and once approved you get your own link.
Affiliates can get rewarded for promoting its cloud plans. Those plans start from twenty euros a month, with a fourteen-day free trial. You receive 30% on your referrals for their first twelve months. The commission is based on n8n's net earnings from each subscription, so it varies slightly by region.
By our count, one referral paying twenty euros a month would earn you about seventy-two euros over those twelve months. To promote it, the page suggests videos, blog posts or a template in its workflow library. Paid ad campaigns are not allowed as part of it. You track your earnings from your own affiliate dashboard.
Payouts go out once a month to an online payment account. Rules and taxes differ by country. Number five pays a much bigger share, but you make the product yourself.
5. On Fab, content you generate with AI must carry the Created with AI flag
Number five: on Fab, content you generate with AI must carry the Created with AI flag. Fab is an open marketplace where digital creators discover, share, buy and sell digital assets. An asset is a standalone item, such as a three-dimensional model, offered for sale or for free. To start, you log in or create an account and click Publish in the top toolbar.
Before you list anything, you agree to the Fab distribution agreement and set up a publisher profile. You receive 88% of the revenue from your product sales. By our count, a twenty-dollar asset would leave you $17 and sixty cents per sale. The assets you create and sell there belong to you.
Fab also says it will not license your artwork to other companies for generative AI programs. Each listing goes through review and approval before buyers can see it. Payments go out about thirty days after the end of each month with revenue, once the amount reaches $100. A month under $100 rolls over to the next one.
Refunds are deducted from your next payout. Tax and payout setup varies by region. Number four sells a simpler kind of file: art you make with AI. If guides like this help you, subscribe: each rule here comes from the platforms' own pages.
4. With Payhip, the payment services charge their own rates on top of the store's fee
Number four: with Payhip, the payment services charge their own rates on top of the store's fee. Its page for selling AI art starts with creating a free online store and uploading your art as product listings. You can use Payhip as your website, or add it to one you already have. The free forever plan takes a 5% fee per sale.
Paid plans cut that fee to 2% for $29 a month, or to zero for ninety-nine. By our count, a five-dollar art pack on the free plan would leave $4 and seventy-five cents, before the payment service's fee. Each sale is deposited to you right after the transaction is completed. Buyers can only reach your files after a successful payment.
It supports most file formats, including audio, video and documents. The page's last step is to promote your store and drive traffic to it. Its seller terms ask you to confirm that your content does not infringe anyone else's intellectual property. Taxes and payment options differ by country.
We are halfway, and one thing makes every item easier: each official page says how and when it pays out. Number three pays a commission when someone you refer subscribes to an AI video editor.
3. The OpusClip affiliate program needs twenty dollars in commission before your first payment
Number three: the OpusClip affiliate program needs $20 in commission before your first payment. OpusClip calls itself an all-in-one AI editor, with no editing skills required. You enter some basic information, and signing up is free. There are no minimum sales required, and every application is reviewed.
Approval takes about a week, and then you get your own link to share on social media. You earn a 25% recurring commission through the first year of each new subscriber you refer. By our count, one subscriber paying $15 a month would earn you $45 over that first year. Referrals cannot come from your own purchases, even with a different email address.
Payment is automatic on the fifteenth of each month, and the funds can take three to five days to arrive. Commissions are paid in dollars to an online payment account. Using your link in paid media is not allowed. If your link brings no traffic within the first six months, the account is deactivated.
Rules and payment options differ by country. Six other AI ideas, each with its own rule, are in our earlier video, linked on screen. Number two pays by the views your clips get.
2. On Vyro, each approved post must reach five thousand views before it starts earning
Number two: on Vyro, each approved post must reach 5,000 views before it starts earning. It is a clipping platform where you get paid for posting clips of creators and brands. You sign up for free, connect your social accounts and browse open campaigns. You pick a campaign, follow its brief, post your clip and submit the link.
Number three's own blog pairs its AI editor with Vyro: one makes clips fast, the other pays for posting them. That blog adds that Vyro makes its money from the creators and brands posting campaigns, not from clippers. Each campaign lists a pay rate per thousand views. The page's own example: 100,000 views on a campaign paying $1 per thousand earn $100.
Vyro counts views from the moment you submit, so its count can differ from what the social platform shows. Earnings can fall below the listed rate when a campaign nears the end of its budget. A clip can earn up to $1,000, and every brief shows its maximum. After a campaign ends, earnings stay pending for review, usually seven to ten days.
Then you can withdraw once you have at least $10, once per week. You must be at least eighteen. Payment rules also block some countries. Its content rules ban fake earnings claims, deepfakes and impersonation.
Payout options depend on where you live. In one breath: two affiliate links, assets, an art store and clips that pay by views. Number one lets you decide how each upload earns.
1. Zedge, where each upload can be free, paid, or unlocked by a short ad
Number one: Zedge, where each upload can be free, paid, or unlocked by a short ad. You upload original work you've created yourself, like wallpapers, ringtones, widgets, icons or watch faces. Its page says AI-generated content must still be your own original creation. Signing up and uploading is free, so there is nothing to pay to start.
You set the price, and you can change an upload's model at any time. With an ad-gated download, you earn from each ad view. From paid downloads, you keep 70% of the revenue. By our count, every $10 of paid downloads would leave you $7.
To become a verified creator, you apply with a tax form and at least six uploaded items. Its team approves content that is original and meets its community standards. If you're rejected at first, you can re-apply after contacting the team. Zedge is currently paying artists who have earned at least $50 by the end of a month.
Payments are usually made around the fifteenth of the following month. Before payouts, the setup also asks for your business details and a payout method. The phone number on your payout account must match the one on your Zedge account. Your dashboard shows how each upload performs.
You keep full ownership of your work, and you can remove it at any time. Taxes and payout options differ by country. And that completes the six. So, six ways to start with AI: an automation tool's link, assets on Fab and art on Payhip.
Then an AI editor's link, clips on Vyro and wallpapers or ringtones on Zedge. You can open the page of the one you like, linked below, and check one requirement today. Which one would you start first? Tell us its number in the comments.
